Lucknow: Bharatiya Janata Party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Friday addressed a Vijay Shankhnad Rally in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, and attacked the Congress, Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party.
Both the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party, he said, were power seekers eager only to mint money; they did not care for the development and welfare of the state or its people.
While addressing a massive rally in Bahraich, Modi alleged that Mulayam Singh-led Samajwadi Party, BSP or Congress had the "same DNA" which made them work for their own "selfish" gains.
The competition between the SP and Mayawati`s BSP is who indulges in "more corruption" and "who has more criminals in its midst", Modi said.
Praising Mamata Banerjee, he said she fights with the Centre for her state West Bengal. "But I have seen that despite supporting the UPA government, SP and BSP have never asked anything for the state.... What they ask for is help in the CBI cases and how to get rid of the problems with the CBI," he said.

Modi alleged that CBI was being misused and terror outfit Indian Mujahideen given a "free hand" to settle political scores with him and save "Congress` fortress" in elections as the party feels that it cannot stop him and BJP through democratic means.
"I feel that in the next elections it would not by the trio of Samajwadi Party, BSP and Congress which would be in the election fray. I feel that in the next elections CBI and Indian Mujahideen... They would take care of the elections so as to save the fortress of Congress," he said addressing a rally here.
The BJP prime ministerial candidate alleged that his adversaries are attacking him "from behind like cowards" and challenged them to fight him democratically.
"One by one, the way incidents are taking place, it appears that those who could not defeat Modi in Gujarat, who were beaten badly in three elections and lost face who feel BJP and Modi cannot be stopped through democratic means....
"They are now using other means- of sometimes putting CBI after them, and at other times giving a free hand to Indian Mujahideen," he said.
Referring to the serial bomb blasts in Patna last month that left seven people dead, Modi said he was not one to be cowed down by acts of terrorism.
"I am made of different `mitti` (DNA). Pistols, guns and bombs cannot stop me for I am unstoppable," he added, to a huge round of applause from the thousands gathered to hear him speak.
Stating that democracy was being "undermined" in the country, Modi alleged that an "advisory" was issued by the Centre to the TV media on why he was shown "at par" with the prime minister while he was addressing the nation from the Red Fort on August 15.
"The advisory was issued this week for what was shown on last August 15. The central government was not concerned about the honour of the prime minister but that on October 27 when Rajnath Singh and Modi were addressing in Patna their `shehzada` was giving a speech in Delhi," he said, in a reference to Rahul Gandhi`s Delhi rally.
"Media`s fault was that though they were showing the `shahzade`, Modi was also seen and heard and so Congress was feeling frustrated," he said.
Taking a dig at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, the Gujarat Chief Minister said the former had sought Gir lions for the under-construction Lion safari at Etawah -- and he (Modi) agreed to supply them.
"It would, however, have been good had he sought our surplus power to light up the villages in Uttar Pradesh," he added.
And in remarks that ignited laughter, Modi said that while the present Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister loved lions, his predecessor Mayawati seemed to love elephants.
The BJP leader also took potshot at Uttar Pradesh Minister Mohd Azam Khan and said that while his and the chief minister`s constituencies enjoyed 24x7 power supply, most parts of the state was in darkness.
