Chennai: Amid concerns over Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's health, expelled AIADMK leader Sasikala Pushpa has written a letter to the state's Governor expressing fears that some people might forge the ailing party chief's signatures for political gains.
According to news agency ANI, expelled AIADMK MP Sasikala Pushpa, in a letter addressed to Tamil Nadu Governor C Vidyasagar Rao, said she fears that some people might forge Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalitha’s signature to nominate a deputy general secretary in her absence.
Through her letter, Sasikala Pushpa also said that she “feared that some people around” Jayalalithaa may forge her signature to nominate a deputy general secretary who would run the Tamil Nadu government as well.
She also urged Governor Vidyasagar Rao to verify the signature of Jayalalithaa if “any official communication came from her or any other person in this or any other regard”.

Sasikala Pushpa was expelled from the party in August after an altercation with DMK MP Tiruchi Siva at the Delhi airport.
She had been under pressure to resign following the involvement of her husband and son in a sexual harassment case which was filed by her two domestic helps.
Meanwhile, Jayalalithaa's supporters and fans continued to conduct special prayers for her speedy recovery outside the Apollo hospital where she is currently being treated.
Many political leaders from across the country had visited the ailing AIADMK chief and inquired about her health.
Information and Broadcasting Minister M Venkaiah Naidu had on Sunday urged people to refrain from spreading rumours about Chief Minister Jayalalithaa's health as she is responding well to the treatment.
"I had a detailed briefing by doctors about the treatment. they told me that she is responding to the treatment, and I am confident that she will be normal and she is improving. It's not fair on the part of anybody to make any speculation or spread any rumours, particularly when the person is undergoing treatment. It is expected by everybody to see that we all maintain balance and refrain while making comments," Naidu said while visiting the Chief Minister at Apollo Hospital here.
Jayalalithaa was admitted to the hospital on September 22 after she complained of fever and dehydration.
