Washington: April 22nd marks Earth Day. A day to spread awareness about protecting and preserving the only planet that has life.
Since protection of planet Earth is of utmost importance, considering the amount of damage climate change and global warming is inflicting on it, US space agency NASA has decided to do something special.
To find out how everyone will be celebrating Earth Day to improve our home planet, NASA is inviting people around the world to share their Earth Day activities on social media, while the space agency shares aspects of a “day in the life” of NASA’s Earth science research.
According to NASA, the Earth Day #24Seven campaign will give the world a glimpse of the various efforts that the space agency undertakes to protect and understand Earth.
NASA will also post time-stamped snapshot “moments” throughout the day on numerous Earth-related social media accounts to collectively paint a picture of NASA Earth science.
