Islamabad: Former Pakistan president and army chief Pervez Musharraf was rushed to a hospital after he fainted at his home in Karachi. 

Reports said that the 72-year-old former military dictator suddenly fainted when he was with his family members. He also complained of breathlessness.

He was rushed to PNS Shifa Hospital, where reports add, that he has been diagnosed with high blood pressure.

However, some reports said that he suffered a minor heart attack.

Musharraf was later shifted to the ICU where doctors are closely monitoring his vital parameters.

Musharraf was quitted by an Anti-Terrorism Court in the Akbar Bugti murder case last month.
