Love your smartphone? Avoid keeping them in these places!

New Delhi: Technology has taken over the world by storm and has come up with one device that has the world hooked!

Smart phones have become an integral part of our lives, so much so, that no one is seen without one. Admit it, there are those who take it along to the washroom as well.

Yes, there are many hazards of mobile phone radiation that we should be aware about, but right now, we're not going to tell you about that.

What we are about to make you aware of, is what hampers your beloved smartphone.

There are certain places where your phones should not be kept, if you want them to have a longer life.

Subjecting your phones to conditions that are not good for them, will eminently result in damage.

Check out the list below to find out whether you really take care of your phone or not!

1. Near the pool:

You're probably rolling your eyes at the obviousness of this place, but the habit of keeping your phone with your beach towel will literally fry it. The exposure to direct sunlight heats up the mobile phone's body due to which, certain metals of the phone might become active and may start leaking, thereby causing damage to your phone.

2. Avoid the flame:

Similar to the above aspect, make sure you avoid any kind of heat near phone. At home, many people, housewives especially, have a habit of talking on the phone while in the kitchen, seemingly unaware of how much damage that will do to the phone and more importantly, to their own self. This is because the material of mobile phones is flammable and can cause explosions easily.

3. Back pockets:

This is the first and most common place that people are observed to keep their phones in. In the back pockets of their jeans. The worst part? Some people do not feel the need to take it out of the pocket before sitting down. Doing this affects a phone's functions as well as the battery.

4. Contact with gloves:

Sounds strange, doesn't it? But it does have a firm hold when it come to mobile phones. Phones heat up when they come in contact with any negatively charged material like wool. This may result in battery corrosion leading to severe leakage.
