The main aim of Falcon 9 rocket is to launch a Dragon cargo capsule carrying food, clothing and other equipments to ISS.
A day before, the countdown for the lift-off was aborted due to bad weather.
Meanwhile, SpaceX's attempt to land the rocket upright on an ocean platform failed.
SpaceX chief Elon Musk said on Twitter: “Rocket landed on droneship, but too hard for survival”.

SpaceX is hired by NASA to fly cargo to the station following the retirement of the space shuttles and its goal is development of fully reusable rockets.
