Bangalore: As Mars Orbiter Mission flounced its way all up to the Martian orbit, a gleaming India witnessed the historical moment with pride. Greetings poured in from all corners on this stupendous achievement of India who now boasts of being the first Asian country to enter the territory of Mars.
Micro-blogging site, Twitter saw a barrage of congratulatory tweets and among them, the most interesting exchange was between ISRO's Mars Orbiter and NASA's Curiosity Rover. Earlier NASA's MAVEN had also congratulated ISRO for its Mars arrival.
Namaste, @MarsOrbiter! Congratulations to @ISRO and India's first interplanetary mission upon achieving Mars orbit.
