Chandigarh: In a bizarre incident in Punjab's Hoshiarpur town, a woman in a drunken state reportedly entered a stranger's home and started to create a ruckus. And when the members of the house tried to intervene, she allegedly started beating them with whatever she could get hold of.
The members of the Raj Singh Chauhan household were shocked to find a drunken woman stumbling on their porch and creating an ugly scene.
According to Dainik Bhaskar, when the family tried to stop her, she picked up whatever she could lay her hands on and started throwing at them.
After an hour of ruckus, when the family could no longer handle the situation, she called for neighbours' help who then dragged her out and tied her with a rope.
After sometime when the police arrived at the scene, they handed her over to them.
She also tried to attack the police officers who detained her.
During police interrogation she claimed that her name is Mushkan and worked as a science teacher for a government institute.
However, the reason for her aberrant behaviour was not immediately known but police have launched an investigation.
The police later took her to a hospital where again she created a ruckus after the staff put her in a ward.
