Bhubaneswar: A highly shocking video of a man battering his friend to death over suspicion of having an illicit affair with his wife in Odisha has been doing the rounds on social media.
The grotesque visuals of the murder, which was caught on camera, shows a man beating his friend with a shovel to death, while the victim's friend is also attacked by him in Nayapalli area in Bhubaneswar on Saturday night.
The killer has been arrested and identified as Seemanchal Jena, who attacked two youths several times on head.
The deceased was identified as Basant Pradhan while the injured one is Lambodar Pradhan.
Both of them belong to Ganjam district in Odhisa.
The local police managed to nab the culprit on the basis of the CCTV footage from a slum in the same locality.
Preliminary inquiry has revealed that victims used to interfere in domestic disputes between Jena and his wife.
Jena was suspecting that the victims were having an extra marital affair with his wife and he though to eliminate both of them.
