New Delhi: After launching physical Google Play prepaid vouchers in June, Google has now rolled out its prepaid gift cards service to India. The vouchers are available in denominations of Rs 750, Rs 1,000, and Rs 1,500.
You can purchase the gift cards at Spice Hotspot, Vijay Sales, Planet M, Planet Mobile and Sangeetha Mobiles stores across the country. The cards are also available online at Snapdeal. You can redeem the cards to buy apps, movies, books, and games off the Play Store, or can even use the money to buy in-app items. You can access the movies and books you've bought as usual on your Android phone, and even on Chromebooks, Windows PCs and Macs, through the Google Play web page.
To sweeten the pot, there's also a bunch of deals for various apps and movies on the Play Store here, like Ubisoft's Prince of Persia game for just Rs 10.
