Spam link with enticing description goes viral on Facebook

A fake video enticing people to click on the picture of a bikini-clad woman on a beach has reportedly gone viral on social networking giant Facebook.

London: A fake video enticing people to click on the picture of a bikini-clad woman on a beach has reportedly gone viral on social networking giant Facebook.

Thanks to the spam link, people kept on clicking on it and the post automatically got reposted through their Facebook profile page.
The post with a description, `Look what this girl is wearing at the beach in front of thousands of people!`, `During the summer holidays, this girl took the opportunity to do something unheard of! I bet no one can do the same,` had lot of Facebookers fell for the spam, metro.co.uk reports.

Once the link is clicked, the user is directed to what appears to be a fake video embedded on a fake Facebook page and as soon as the user clicks on the link further, it is shared on their Facebook profile too.

Such spam links have been doing rounds on social networks with the purpose of driving traffic to certain websites.
