Washington: Digital library Internet Archive has unveiled "The Internet Archive Console Living Room" section with games for five classic consoles.
According to TechHive, users can now play dozens of games for each system right on the site through the Javascript -based JMESS emulator, which runs decently in most modern browsers.

This new initiative is part of the Historical Software Collection that launched earlier this year, with an aim to preserve notable software from the past.
The Internet Archive presently hosts games from five early systems, including the Atari 2600 and 7800, the ColecoVision, the Magnavox Odyssey, and the short-lived Astrocade.
