New Delhi: Showing support for Digital India, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg changed his Facebook profile picture to Indian tricolour.

Zuckerberg wrote in the caption of the photo, “I changed my profile picture to support Digital India, the Indian government's effort to connect rural communities to the internet and give people access to more services online. Looking forward to discussing this with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Facebook today. Show your support for Digital India atfb.com/supportdigitalindia.”

He also asked his followers to show their support for Digital India initiative. The new profile picture showed a smiling Zuckerberg with three colours of the Indian flag.

PM Modi also seemed just as equally excited about his meeting with Mark Zuckerberg and he returned the favour by changing his profile picture too.

Narendra Modi wrote: "Thanks Mark Zuckerberg for the support. I changed my DP in support of the efforts towards a Digital India. Your too can change your DP at fb.com/supportdigitalindia"
