New Delhi: The very popular online social networking site Facebook has added several new features this year. With these new add-ons, the site has become more handy to the users.
Here are some of the new features on Facebook:
Instant Articles: The social networking site has recently added a new feature called 'Instant Articles' by teaming up with nine publishers, allowing them to publish articles directly on the network's mobile news feed. This will make the user's reading experience ten times faster than standard mobile web articles.
Scrapbook: A new feature called 'Scrapbook' has been introduced on the social networking site this year. This will help the user in collecting and organising photos of their children at one place. The photos will be shared with other friends on Facebook.
Legacy contact: This will allow the users to choose someone to take control of their accounts after they die. The new feature is called 'Legacy contact'. It also decides if they want their profile to be deleted permanently or not. But the new addition is only available in US as of now.
Suicide Prevention: The online social networking site has added a feature for suicide prevention, that will allow the users to report suicidal posts on the site and to also contact a helpline or another friend for guidance. This one can really be the most needful, when in crisis.
