New Delhi: Twitter together with Electoral Commission launched a neon tick emoji on Monday to remind people to register themselves to vote in EU referendum, according to BBC news.
The deadline of registration is Tuesday's midnight.
With this brand new emoji Electoral Commission is hoping to draw the attention of youths in the country, so that as many as possible register to vote.
The Electoral Commission said that they started really pushing the hashtag #EURefReady from Monday, but that they are working with a "range of different partner organizations" to ensure that the hashtag is used more widely up to the registration deadline.
Britain will hold a referendum on Thursday, June 23 to decide whether or not to continue with the European Union.
