VHP organises religious meet to garner support for Ram temple

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Saturday organised a religious meeting (dharm sabha) here to garner support for its campaign on building Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Ahmedabad: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad
on Saturday organised a religious meeting (dharm sabha) here to
garner support for its campaign on building Ram temple in
Ayodhya.
"Ram temple will be constructed in Ayodhya, once the
land is allocated," International Secretary VHP Pravin
Togadiya said, while addressing a large gathering here.

The religious meet was organised by Hanumant Shakti
Jagran Anushthan Samiti.

Togadiya said that any remarks made by any leader of a
political party which harms national interest will not be
tolerated by the VHP.

Togadiya flayed the remarks passed on Kashmir by the
Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan, who was recently re-inducted
into the party.

"Kashmir is an integral part of India, and Khan`s
statement is controversial and harming national interest,"
Togadiya said.

Khan had stoked a controversy recently when he
questioned whether Kashmir was part of India, after stating at
a public meeting in Uttar Pradesh that there is only one
Muslim minister in the Union Cabinet who is not from this
country but who is from Kashmir.
Togadiya also attacked, Union Law Minister Veerapa
Moily for his announcement to implement the recommendations of
Justice Rajendra Sachar committee, for welfare of minorities.
