Two TDP members suspended from Rajya Sabha

Two Telugu Desam Party (TDP) members who have been protesting against Andhra Pradesh`s division were suspended from the Rajya Sabha on Monday for disrupting the house proceedings.

New Delhi: Two Telugu Desam Party (TDP) members who have been protesting against Andhra Pradesh`s division were suspended from the Rajya Sabha on Monday for disrupting the house proceedings.
Rajya Sabha deputy chairperson PJ Kurien suspended CM Ramesh and YS Chaudhary for the day.

Kurien acted after both MPs came near the chairperson`s podium holding placards and shouting slogans "Save Andhra Pradesh" and "We need justice".
