PM to address election rally in Amritsar today

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is scheduled to address a series of election rallies in Punjab Monday when campaigning for the final leg of Lok Sabha elections will come to an end.

Amritsar, May 11: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is scheduled to address a series of election rallies in Punjab Monday when campaigning for the final leg of Lok Sabha elections 2009 will come to an end.
The Prime Minister is slated to attend an election rally in the city at around 10 AM. Singh will then address another poll meeting at Khadoor Shaib parliament constituency falling in the Tarn Taran district, Amritsar SSP Kunwar Vijay Partap
Singh said.

Thereafter, he is scheduled to move to Ludhiana, he said, adding former Punjab Chief Ministers Amarinder Singh and Rajinder Kaur Bhattal will also attend the rallies.
