A Pakistani teenager, who inadvertently crossed over to India, has been repatriated by Border Security Force, an official said on Saturday.

On November 28, 17-year-old Bilal Khan, a resident of Lahore, was apprehended by BSF troops at Border Out Post Kahangarh in Amritsar sector.

"During questioning he was found to be innocent and had crossed the border inadvertently. Nothing objectionable was found from his possession," the official said.

Pakistan Rangers were contacted yesterday and the youth was handed over to them on humanitarian ground, he said.
