New Delhi: Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Tuesday hit out at Narendra Modi, saying that the Bharatiya Janata Party`s prime ministerial candidate has little sense of Geography and General Knowledge.
Digvijay, a known critic of the Gujarat Chief Minister, tweeted, “We knew he is illiterate in History now we see him as illiterate in Geography and GK too!

Digvijay`s reaction comes after Modi attacked the Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh while addressing the Vijay Shankhnaad Rally in Lucknow on Sunday.
Drawing comparisons between Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh, Modi asked SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav to explain what he did for his state.
“In UP, even 40 percent people have no access to electricity. In Gujarat, 99 percent people have electricity access. There have been more than 20,000 cases of atrocities against women in last one year in UP. There have been 150 riots in UP in last one year while Gujarat is in peace for last ten years,” roared Modi.
Last week a big war of words had erupted between the Congress and BJP after Union Minister Salman Khurshid described Modi as "impotent".
