Ahmednagar/New Delhi: Former IPS officer Kiran Bedi will on Monday end her fast over Jan Lokpal Bill.
Bedi had joined Anna Hazare`s indefinite fast at Ralegan Siddhi in Maharashtra on Saturday.
Commenting on Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal`s description of Lokpal bill tabled by the government as "Jokepal", Bedi tweeted:
Lokpal is certainly not a Jokepal!Those who term it this way perhaps want to keep d issue alive & not want it get started against corruption

She further tweeted:
Once a 4+4 of Lokpal is in place,any complaint backed by solid evidence will lead to credible investigation, independent prosecution+trial!

The key member of the erstwhile Team Anna, who had to return to the national capital, has now decided to stay back with Anna till the government passes the Lokpal bill.

Bedi, who was India`s first woman police officer, and who has since retirement become an activist, went to Ahmednagar in Maharashtra to call on veteran anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare, who launched a hunger strike at his native village Ralegan-Siddhi since Tuesday, demanding the Lokpal Bill.
