CBSE Class 12 students can apply online for verification of marks from today

The Central Board of Secondary Education Class XII students can apply online for verification of marks from Friday.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education Class XII students can apply online for verification of marks from Friday.

In a statement on Thursday, the CBSE said that application for verification of marks could be made online between May 30 and June 5.

The practice so far of applying for verification of marks at designated schools has been done away with.
The fee will be Rs 300 per subject.

The CBSE has from this year has also brought in a provision for the `revaluation` of answer scripts.

According to a statement, only candidates applying for verification of marks will be eligible to apply for a photocopy of evaluated answer books and those obtaining such photocopies then will be eligible to seek revaluation in the identified subject.
"Only those candidates who apply for verification of marks and for obtaining photocopy of the evaluated answer books can apply for revaluation of a maximum of 10 questions each in the subjects of English Core, Functional English, English Elective, Hindi Core, Hindi Elective, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business Studies, Economics and Accountancy," it said in a statement.
