CBSE Class 12 results declared for Delhi, Dehradun regions; girls outshine boys

The Central Board of Secondary Education declared the results of Class 12 examinations for the Delhi, Dehradun regions.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday declared the results of Class 12 examinations for the Delhi and Dehradun regions.

The results of Delhi and Dehradun (Uttarakhand) regions were declared at 11 am.

With the pass percentage of 88.52, girls fared much better than boys (78.27%).
Students can access the results on www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in and also through SMS and Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS).

Thiruvananthapuram Region registered the best results among all the regions, posting a pass percentage of 94.26, said the CBSE in a statement, after the results for the Delhi and the Dehradun regions were declared today.

The pass percentage across the country stood at 82.66 percent, slightly higher than what it had registered last year with 82.10 percent.

In total, 10,28,928 candidates had registered for class XII examination this year.

The results of Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram regions were declared on May 26, and the results of Ajmer, Allahabad, Bhubaneshwar, Guwahati, Panchkula and Patna regions were delcared yesterday.
