Hyderabad, May 10: BJP Andhra Pradesh unit on Sunday welcomed the decision of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao to attend an election rally at Ludhiana in Punjab.
"It was an augur indication that TRS president Rao was attending an election rally organised by Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), an ally of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at Ludhiana," former union minister and BJP leader C H Vidyasagar Rao told reporters here.

Reiterating the party`s commitment of carving out a separate state for Telangana, the BJP leader said that the new state will be formed withing 100 days, if NDA is voted to power.

When asked whether Chiranjeevi`s Praja Rajyma Party in Andhra Pradesh would support the NDA, he asserted that the present political scenario in the country was in favour of BJP-led NDA and there will be no third front at national level.

To a query, Rao replied that Grand Alliance does not exist in the state now, it was just an electoral alliance during the elections between the TDP, left and TRS parties.
