Bangalore: The national executive body of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad will hold a two-day meeting here from Friday to discuss the present education scenario and "deteriorating environment" in the country.
The national executive council meeting would pass two resolutions -- one on the Kashmir situation and another on the 150th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir M Vishweshwaraya, ABVP`s All India president Milind Marathe told reporters here.
"The facts about 2G spectrum scandal and report of the survey on fee structure in professional educational institutions undertaken by ABVP will be placed before members of the National Executive Council," he said.
Marathe stressed the need for curbing commercialisation of
education.
He said 10,000 delegates from all over the country would
take part in the national conference which would discuss the
present education scenario, situation in the country and
deteriorating environment.
In addition, there would also be parallel sessions, which
would discuss a number of issues, it was stated.
The four-day, 56th national conference of ABVP is also
scheduled to be held here from December 25.
