State Social Justice Minister Rajkumar Badole today visited the venue and reviewed the preparations for the event.

The day is celebrated to mark the adoption of Constitution on November 26, 1949, which came into force on January 26, 1950.

Union minister and local MP Nitin Gadkari, Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis, his cabinet colleagues Vinod Tawade, Chandrashekhar Bawankule and Mayor Pravin Datke will be present at the function, official sources said.

Meanwhile, the local unit of Congress will organise mass recitation of the preamble at 26 places in north Nagpur, dominated by dalit population, a party release stated.
