Mumbai: Women rights activist Trupti Desai was attacked by goons when she and her associates were on their way to a temple in Maharashtra's Nashik city last night, a media report said on Friday.
According to Times Now, Desai was rushed to a hospital after she was injured in the attack on her convoy.
Visuals broadcast by the channel show a badly damaged windshield of her car. The attackers have reportedly pelted stones at her car when they were on their way to the Kamleshwar temple in Nashik.
