A six-month pregnant woman has been allegedly gang-raped by robbers in Parbhani district of Maharashtra, police said.

Aurangabad: A six-month pregnant woman has been allegedly gang-raped by robbers in Parbhani district of Maharashtra, police said.

The robbers also looted valuables from several houses in Khedula Pati village on Tuesday, police said. Police have arrested three of the four accused in the connection, an officer said.

"The robbers struck Khedula Pati village on Pathri-Selu road on early Tuesday and allegedly attacked three villagers. They then forcibly took the woman to the bushes and allegedly raped her in turns," the police official said.

The woman and the other injured have been admitted to Parbhani civil hospital. A case under sections of Indian Penal Code has been registered at the Pathri police station, the officer added.
