In the month of April this year, days after the release of the 26/11 Mumbai attack 'mastermind' and Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Zaki-ur Rehman Lakhvi from a Rawalpindi jail in Pakistan, intelligence agencies had issued an alert.

Reports had then said that LeT terrorists based in Pakistan may sneak into Mumbai via the sea route to carry out terror attacks.

And before that in January this year an alert was sounded after two notes were found at the Mumbai airport.

As per reports, the two notes with ISIS names on them had asked: “26/01/2015 IS BOM OK?”

The notes were found in two toilets, meant for males, located inside the Terminal A1 of Mumbai's domestic airport.

Another note read “ATTECK BY ISIS DATE 10/01/15 (sic)”.
