Shocking! MP woman chops off brother-in-law's genital, then takes it to police as evidence

Bhopal: Police in Madhya Pradesh have arrested a woman and charged her with attempted murder after she chopped off the genital of her brother-in-law.

As per a report in the Daily Mail, the 32-year-old woman who has three children even went to the police station with the severed organ to hand it over as an evidence.

The incident took place in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh.

The woman told police that she was left with no option but to do what she did.

As per the woman, he brother-in-law used to repeatedly assault her sexually.

The woman used to stay with her brother-in-law as her husband was working hundreds of kilometres away in Nashik, Maharashtra.

On the night when the incident happened, the woman faked consent when her brother-in-law attacked her. She then chopped off his private parts with a sickle.

The man later committed suicide and his body was found hanging from a tree near his house, the Times of India reported.

Police said the woman is not mentally unstable and does not regret her actions.
