Repolling held in five booths of MP, 64.72% voting registered

An average 64.72 percent voting was registered in the five polling booths of three Parliamentary seats in Madhya Pradesh, where repolling was held on Saturday, officials said.

Bhopal, April 25: An average 64.72 percent voting was
registered in the five polling booths of three Parliamentary
seats in Madhya Pradesh, where repolling was held on Saturday,
officials said.

Polling was 52.70 percent and 39.76 cent at
Majhgavan and Dadakala polling booths respectively - both in
Rewa Parliamentary constituency, they added.

The polling was 70.73 percent and 67 percent at
Ramkhiria and Narhara polling booths repectively - both in
Hoshangabad Lok Sabha seat, they said.

A vote cast of 93.41 percent was recorded at Panjh
polling booth in Vidisha Parliamentary constituency from
where senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj is in the fray,
official added.

The elections in these polling stations were held on
April 23 in the first phase of election in MP, but Election
Commission had ordered repolling in these places, they said.
