Government creates grievance redressal cell for J&K people

The government has created a grievance redressal cell in the Union Home Ministry for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Tuesday.

New Delhi: The government has created a grievance redressal cell in the Union Home Ministry for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Tuesday.

"The Ministry of Home Affairs has nominated Sanjay Roy, Director (Media) in Jammu and Kashmir Division as the nodal officer for grievances relating to Jammu and Kashmir persons, particularly students residing outside the state," the official said. 

The grievances can be reported round-the-clock on phone numbers: 011-23092923 and 011-23092885, he said.
