BJP`s `Mission 44`: Amit Shah arrives in Jammu, to address party MLAs

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah arrived in Jammu on Sunday as part of party`s `Mission 44` plan ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah arrived in Jammu on Sunday as part of party`s `Mission 44` plan ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.

Shah will begin his two-day visit to the state and will address party MLAs later in the day.

He is scheduled to address a rally in Kathua tomorrow .

This will be Shah`s maiden visit after being appointed as the party president.

The party is running “Mission 44” in the state ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections next year.

The tenure of the J&K Assembly ends on January 19, 2015, and elections will be held before that for the 87 Assembly seats in the state.

Shah plans to implement the same strategy in the poll-bound state as he did in Uttar Pradesh and led BJP to an impressive win with 71 out of 80 Lok Sabha seats.
