Why Arvind Kejriwal takes Barack Obama's name while targeting PM Narendra Modi?

New Delhi: It seems the friendship between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Barack Obama is not going down well with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who spares no chance to invoke the US leader's name while targeting the PM.

Earlier this month, Kejriwal, while defending the proposed hike in the salaries of Delhi MLAs, envisaged an embarrassing situation for Modi when he encounters US President Barack Obama next. "Kal ko Obama miley toh kya bolenege...(if he meets Obama tomorrow, what will he say). It (PM's salary) should be at least Rs 8-10 lakh."

Yesterday (December 22, 2015), he again invoked Obama's name while targeting Modi.

While speaking at the Delhi Assembly with regard to the DDCA scam and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raid at the Delhi Secretariat on December 15, Kejriwal quipped while talking about his meeting with the PM: “I had said that I will transform Delhi so well that the next time when President Barack Obama visits the city, the Prime Minister can claim all the credit for it.”

“Obama doesn’t know Kejriwal, he knows Modi,” he added.

Does the Delhi CM want Obama to know him before 2019 General Elections? Or does he want the PM to feel embarrassed every time he meets the US President?

We leave it to you to decide.
