New Delhi: A team of rescuers on Monday found a snake of rare 'flying snakes' species at Kalampalayam village of Coimbatore district in Tamil Nadu.
Villagers called the snake rescuers to capture the reptile which was seen crawling and jumping. The species is mostly found in Sri Lanka and other zones having same climatic conditions.
According to the experts, the flying snakes have the unique ability to adjust their body and move it in a way that gives an impression of flying when seen from a distance.
