New Delhi: The Congress Party on Sunday described the Vyapam scam as the `most horrible scam` in the country`s history and demanded that the role of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan must be investigated in connection with this case.

Congress leader PC Chacko said that a court monitored investigation must be done into the Vyapam scam to get to the bottom of the truth.

"The Vyapam scam is becoming the most horrible scam in the history of the country. Several people who are either involved or connected with this scam have been killed or died during this time. Chief Minister says that the investigation is on, but who will investigate the role of the Chief Minister is crucial," Chacko told ANI.

"The whole issue is becoming murkier and murkier. It cannot be left for the local inquiry, this can only be inquired by a court monitored investigation..People want the role of the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Chauhan, to be investigated. A court monitored inquiry by the highest investigative agency is necessary," he added.
