Vietnam's Defence Minister meets PM Modi

The Minister of National Defence of Vietnam, Gen. Phung Quang Thanh, called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Monday.

New Delhi: The Minister of National Defence of Vietnam, Gen. Phung Quang Thanh, called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Monday.

Gen. Thanh briefed Prime Minister Modi about defence and security related developments in the India-Vietnam bilateral relationship. Prime Minister Modi expressed satisfaction at the progress made in bilateral defence and security cooperation between the two countries.

Gen. Thanh and Prime Minister Modi also discussed developments in the Southeast Asian region.
