Thiruvananthapuram: In a shocking incident, a 46-year-old man was beaten to death in a broad daylight in a village in Kerala.
The horrific incident, that was captured on a mobile phone, has been so far viewed by at least 6 lakh times on Facebook.
The incident took place on Sunday evening near a railway crossing in a village in Thiruvananthapuram.
The video that surfaced on Monday shows, the victim, identified as Manakkadu Veettil Shabeer, being thrashed brutally by four men. In the video, while one man is beating him with a rod, the other is showing holding his legs so as to perfectly expose him to the brutal attack.
After the four-member gang fled away, the locals carried the victim to a nearby hospital. On Monday afternoon, Shabeer succumbed to his injuries.
Of the four attackers, one has been arrested, the police said.
