New Delhi: An embarrassed Urban Development Ministry is likely to correct its affidavit in the Supreme Court wrongly showing that Finance Minister Arun Jaitley was occupying two official bungalows in Lutyen's Delhi.

In the affidavit filed recently, Jaitley has been shown occupying a bungalow on the Ashoka Road next to the BJP head office as also occupying a bungalow on Krishna Menon Marg. The Ashoka Road bungalow that he was allotted was given by Jaitley to the party for its official use for several years.

Jaitley had written to the Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu way back in June seeking cancellation of the allocation of the allotment of bungalow on Ashoka Road, which was done. But in the affidavit filed in the court recently, the bungalow was still being shown as occupied by Jaitley.

Ministry sources said they may file a supplementary affidavit in the court soon explaining the correct position.
