Three Kerala men beaten by Saudi employer; Swaraj says Indian workers will return within a week – Watch video

Thiruvananthapuram: Three men from Kerala have sent a video to their family of their Saudi employer brutally beating them.

All three, B Vimal Kumar, Abhilash Gopi and Byju Babu are natives of Haripad town in north Kerala.

In the footage the Saudi man is clearly visible beating the three with a wooden plank.

According to reports, the three were promised of jobs by an agent. The trio came in touch with agent through a police officer.

The Police have registered a case and the cop in question has been suspended.

Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has promised action and tweeted: "We reported this to Saudi Police. We are in touch with Indian workers. They will be back in India within a week."
