Sushma Swaraj to visit China on February 1-3

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will visit China on 1-3 February 2015 at the invitation of the Foreign Minister of China Wang Yi.

New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will visit China on 1-3 February 2015 at the invitation of the Foreign Minister of China Wang Yi.

Both Sushma and Wang will discuss bilateral, regional and global issues concerning both New Delhi and Beijing.

The External Affairs Minister will inaugurate the 2nd India-China High-Level Media Forum and attend the launch of Visit India Year during her stay in China.

Sushma will also participate in the 13th Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of Russia-India-China Trilateral, and will meet Russian Foreign Minister Mr. Sergei Lavrov on the sidelines of the Meeting.

Recently, Wang Yi, said Pakistan is China's "irreplaceable all weather friend" and that both the countries are part of a community of shared destiny.

Chinese Politburo member Meng Jianzhu said Pakistan's concern is China's concern and called Pakistan reliable friend.

According to Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) tweet, Meng Jianzhu, member of Politburo -- Communist Party's second highest council -- termed China's relationship with Pakistan "beyond individuals" adding that "Pakistan's concern is China's concern".
