New Delhi: BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Friday hinted that some big revelation may soon be made in the AgustaWestland chopper bribery case soon.

Swamy spoke about the hint on Twitter when he said, “Looks like something big soon in Agusta. Going back to Parliament for a brain storming session.”

Swamy has been hitting out at Congress leaders, including party president Sonia Gandhi and former prime minister Manmohan Singh, after their names were mentioned in an Italian court judgement convicting top officials of the UK-based AgustaWestland and its Italian parent firm Finmeccanica for corruption in the India VVIP chopper deal.AgustaWestland and its Italian parent firm Finmeccanica for corruption in the India VVIP chopper deal.

 

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar today said in Parliament that efforts were made by the previous UPA government to favour AgustaWestland.

He further accused the Congress of creating a single vendor situation in the Rs 3600 crore AgustaWestland VVIP chopper deal.
