New Delhi: Has Indian Army avenged the brutal killing and mutilation of its jawan Mandeep Singh?

According to a media report, India retaliated with fire assault after Mandeep Singh's mutilation and killed at least 40 Pakistani soldiers in a strike conducted on October 29.

Pakistan suffered major losses in the Oct 29 strike as maximum damage was done in Keran sector because four posts of Pakistani army were badly hit by Indian Army's firing, according to a report in CNN-News18.

After surgical strikes by Indian Army in Pakistan's territory, 18 infiltrations have been foiled so far.

Mandeep Singh's brutal killing

On Oct 28, terrorists, aided by cover fire by Pakistani Army, crossed the Line of Control and killed sepoy Mandeep Singh, a soldier with the 17 Sikh Regiment, and mutilated his body.

The barbaric incident happened in Macchil sector of Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir.

The jawan's family members had demanded that Pakistan be taught a lesson for harbouring terrorists. His brother Sandeep Singh had demanded that the family wanted 10 Pakistani heads for the price of one.
