Rajyavardhan Rathore targets Congress, accuses it of 'misleading farmers'

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on Monday lashed out at the Congress party for playing blame game politics while accusing it of misleading farmers.

New Delhi: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on Monday lashed out at the Congress party for playing blame game politics while accusing it of misleading farmers.

"We don't understand the blame game politics. Everyone knows which government brought scams in the nation," Rathore told media persons here.

"For them (Congress) it has become a way to mislead the farmers. And by holding to it they want to do politics, this is known to all," he added.

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi had earlier on Sunday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had won the 2014 general elections with the help of money provided to him by industrialists, and now, he would use the money accrued from the farm lands sold to pay off his debts.

The Congress party has staunchly resolved to oppose the controversial Land Ordinance which was tabled in the Lok Sabha today by Union Minister of State for Skill Development Rajiv Pratap Rudy.

The Parliament, however, witnessed an uproar by the opposition leaders even before the ordinance was tabled.
