PM Modi to meet NDA MPs over tea on Oct 26

New Delhi: Riding high on the electoral successes in Maharashtra and Haryana assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet all MPs of BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) over tea here on October 26.

All MPs of BJP's estranged ally Shiv Sena, including Union Minister Anant Geete, will be present during the meeting at the Prime Minister's residence.

This is the first interaction of all NDA MPs with the Prime Minister after the alliance stormed to power at the Centre in May.

"The Prime Minister has invited all NDA MPs at his residence for high tea on October 26 evening. As Shiv Sena is a part of NDA, all its MPs, including myself, will be present at the meeting," Geete told PTI.

Though he did not speak anything on Maharashtra's post-poll political scenario and whether Shiv Sena will again tie-up with BJP for a government in the state, Geete merely said Sena is a part of NDA at the Centre.
