Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday that the National War Memorial will be a perfect tribute to the brave soldiers of India.

The Union Cabinet today approved the construction of National War Memorial and Museum near the famed India Gate in the national capital.
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari after the Cabinet meeting told the media that the memorial will be built in the memory of 22,500 soldiers, who sacrificed their lives while in the line of duty post-independence, as per ANI.
