New Delhi: Firebrand Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Subramanian Swamy on Thursday said that he will approach the Patiala House court to allow him to inspect the grand old party's accounts in relation with the National Herald case.

The BJP leader has accused top Congress leaders, including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, of cheating, conspiracy and criminal breach of trust.

Giving the update about the latest development in the case, Swamy today tweeted:

The Congress and the Associated Journals Pvt Ltd (AJL) had earlier submitted their 2010-2011 balance sheets in a sealed cover before a court here in connection with the National Herald case.

Besides Congress president Sonia Gandhi, her son Rahul Gandhi, party leaders Motilal Vora, Oscar Fernandes, Suman Dubey, Sam Pitroda and Young Indian Pvt Ltd (YI) are accused in National Herald case filed by the BJP leader.

Swamy has accused them of allegedly conspiring to cheat and misappropriate funds by just paying Rs 50 lakh by which YI obtained the right to recover Rs 90.25 crore which Associated Journals Pvt Ltd (AJL) owed to the Congress party.
