Manish Sisodia suspends govt school's vice principal over indiscipline

In order to put a check on the lackadaisical approach of government schools' staff, Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday terminated the services of a government school vice principal on charges of indiscipline.

New Delhi: In order to put a check on the lackadaisical approach of government schools' staff, Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday terminated the services of a government school vice principal on charges of indiscipline.

Sisodia who made a surprise visit to Manadawali Government School terminated the vice principal immediately after checking the records.

Sisodia said that he found three teachers, despite being absent at 8.15 AM, were marked present in the register. The principal of the school has also been given a show cause notice.

"Hav ordered termination of Vice Principal of Mandawali Govt School against indisciplinary action.

"In a surprise visit I found 3 teachrs were absent but were shown present in data base at 8.15 AM. Have given show cause notice to Principal (sic)," Sisodia said in a series of tweets.
