Riyadh: PM Narendra Modi on Sunday paid a visit to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) all women IT & ITES Centre in Riyadh. He also held a meeting with business leaders.

- "Thank you Saudi Arabia. Joined several programmes during my visit, which will deepen economic & people-to-people ties between our nations," PM tweets.

- In a special gesture, PM Narendra Modi conferred with Saudi Arabia's highest civilian honour, the King Abdulaziz Sash.

Earlier, immediately after his arrival here, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday had visited the Masmak fortress, a clay and mud-brick complex built around 1865, that is a major symbol of recapture of power by the Al Saud royal dynasty which has been running the country for over a century.

Modi took a round of the Masmak fort where Saudi officials explained to him the historical importance of the complex in the commercial centre of the old city of Riyadh.
