• As thousands of civilians affected in shelling by Pakistani troops in Jammu and Kashmir thronged to safer shelter camps, state Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, accompanied by his team, went on to inspect the lodging facilities and quality of food provided to them.

• The Border Security Force has intensified its patrolling along the Indo-Pak border in the wake of escalating ceasefire violations by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir.

• PM Modi added that Pakistan will never dare to raise its head again after the massive defeat it faced during recent tension.
